I’m not sure if it was an off day or if the oven was messed up when my order went in but I ordered a XL Ny style pizza and I got chewy gummy heavy dough in every bite. Typically happens if the oven isn’t hot enough so the top and edges look done but the inside and back comes out like it did. Also the pizza didn’t fit in the box so it was a little bent up. This definitely isn’t NY style and my last order was fine. I’ll eat it because I already paid for it but I’m pretty disappointed.

My car is down the street and I started wandering around looking for food and came across this little gem. I came in and was greeted promptly. She gave me time to review the menu and I settled on gyro dinner with chocolate mousse cake. Food was delicious, not overly oily and has lots of flavor. Generous portion too, so I actually got full! Atmosphere is quite and great for me to take a work call while waiting for my car. Told my husband about this place and we will come again.

Maggio’s is a little hitting gemgem that I never knew existed! I wash my clothes at the laundromat that is next-door and one day I ordered some food to go, and little did I know that there is a bar inside this place So on my first visit, I got chicken wings to go and they were absolutely amazing. The chicken wings were bigger than normal and after four wings I was full. On my next visit while washing clothes, I went over and ended up having a couple of drinks in the bar area. Everybody welcomed to me like family. All the employees are very nice and respectful, and the patrons are very social. I enjoyed having my drinks and food with a great atmosphere. The food here is absolutely amazing. The chicken kebab is my favorite. The portions were generous and I had plenty for leftovers. The location is just outside old town but well worth the visit. Whether you are grabbing food to go, or having a drink, Maggio’s is such a great place to eat, drink and meet friendly people.

Looks like a pretty cool spot. The hostesses were wonderful to interact with. However, the meal I got a Greek salad with chicken, inspired by another reviewer’s order...did NOT look like that. The Greek tzatziki vinaigrette was honestly gross 🤮. It’s a fusion of Greek and Indian food, which sounded interesting, but it didn’t come together well. It came with 2 dolma (rice wrapped in grape leaves), and unfortunately the rice was mushy, which just added to the disappointment. I asked for extra olives and was given… 2 more.🤦🏾‍♀️ The salad itself was basically 50% lettuce, 20% vegetables (about 5 half slices of tomato, a quarter of a red onion, 7 olives, and maybe 3 tablespoons of chopped green pepper), about 5% feta, and 20% very lightly seasoned grilled chicken breast. I might have enjoyed it a little more if utensils were included, especially since I’m staying in a hotel. I ended up eating what I could with my hands. On top of that, I ordered fries. I picked them up within the given time, but they were already soft...clearly from being compressed in the packaging and the humidity getting to them. All in all, it was a $20 horror. If you’re looking for a place with great drinks, solid fries, and a laid-back happy hour vibe, Maggio’s is definitely worth a visit! I stopped by recently and ordered the Gyro Dinner ($19) and the Chicken Souvlaki Dinner ($19.95), and honestly, I left disappointed with the meals. The gyro meat was so thinly sliced it was burnt, resembling the pre-packaged kind you’d find at a grocery store rather than fresh, quality gyro meat. The chicken souvlaki was nothing more than grilled chicken nuggets served with an abundance of fries, which felt like a letdown for the price point. On a positive note, both dinners included a fresh, tasty salad, which was surprisingly the highlight of the meal. Still, when you’re paying nearly $20 per plate, the main entrée should shine—not just the salad. Where Maggio’s really redeems itself is their bar! The happy hour is fantastic, the drinks are well-made, and the bartender was incredible—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The atmosphere at the bar alone made my visit worthwhile.
